The Spektrix Conference 2016


Last year we held our biggest ever Spektrix Conference, bringing together almost 500 arts professionals from across the UK, Ireland and USA at the Lyric Hammersmith. For 2016, we've made our conference bigger and better, bringing decision-makers together from across the cultural sector to explore how arts organisations can work smarter. 

What is it? 
The Spektrix Conference a one day event on the 7th November 2016, when the Spektrix community will gather together for a programme of keynotes, breakout sessions, lightning talks and engaging discussions. We’ll look at new ideas to further our goal of changing the industry for the better. It won’t cost you anything extra to attend and it’s a great chance to meet other arts leaders and decision makers. Watch highlights from last year.

What's happening this year? 
This year sees the return of the ever-popular Lightning Talks, plus a brand new Sales breakout sessions as well as Marketing and Fundraising. If you’re looking to move away from the sessions for a little bit, our brave Engineers will be tackling some Live Coding, the unconference will be in full swing where we’ll be discussing anything and everything, and the Support team will be around for you to meet the faces behind the voices on the other end of the phone. 

Who is it for? 
The Spektrix Conference is for people working in organisations that are using Spektrix. There is no additional charge to attend - the Spektrix Conference is included as part of the service we offer to the community and is all part of our mission to help the arts sector be more successful. 

The conference is designed for decision-makers in their organisations including directors, chief executives, heads of departments and managers. Everyday users of the system who want practical advice on using the system should watch out for Spektrix Workshops taking place in 2017. 

Why should I come?
Learn how to adapt to the changing economic landscape and discover why working collaboratively and integrating  your departments will help deliver long-term sustainability. You have the power to enact big change in your organisation and this year’s conference will give you fuel to challenge your team's ways of working.

Is there a limit to how many people I can bring from my organisation?
We want as many different venues to be able to come to the Spektrix Conference as possible, but we wouldn't want to limit it to anyone. It's a good idea to discuss with your teams before booking places to make sure the right people are coming - we think at least one person from each department is about right. 

How do I book? 
If you're a Spektrix user, you or someone in your organisation has received an email with the booking information including a link to the booking form. If you haven't had an email and think you might have been missed off the list, just drop us a line at hello@spektrix.com. Places fill up fast, so be quick.
